NOT UNTIL MAY

We saw our doctor yesterday afternoon to discuss with him different options for testing and what we can do to make sure everything is working as it should. We inquired about putting Rachel on Metformin, a medication she's taken before, which he thought was a good idea. He said it couldn't hurt and that if anything, it would ensure a quality egg next time she ovulates. So, we got a script for that. Additionally, he's going to do an ultrasound next time she's nearing ovulation, which will be followed up by some sort of shot to induce ovulation. When all of that is done, we'll go in the following morning for insemination. It's sounds bad, but really it's not much and we feel good about it because then we can at least say we did all we could.

Only thing is, the Metformin has to work it's magic for a month, so we can't try again until May. While that is a little disappointing, it's for the best and ultimately, May would be the best time to get pregnant anyway.

So, now we have a plan that we feel really good about and we're looking forward to continuing the process.

Have you tried only one time?

Just wondering if you might try several more time before going the medication route - sometimes it takes a while...
